Woooooof the FT% on the white team....holy heck.

No FGs by either team in the last 5 minutes. I hope that's a one off.

Good assist numbers, means we pass well. Good shooting percentage by both squads. Good 3pt% as well.

That FT% needs to drastically improve from the White team though. Ouch

So it was a 40 minute game?

Hard to read anything into it. We won't know anything until the Duke game anyways.
Looks like it.

The only thing that worries me is the 5 minute scoring drought by both squads and the AWFUL FT% by the White Squad.

Idk why they couldn't have done the in person crap pre scrimmage no one cares about and then televised the actual scrimmage. But what do I know.

Total failure of an event. I want the blue white game. Not the ''blue white preseason event brought to you by, wells-fargo, tony's roasted peanuts, and charlies automotive''.
Zip it peasant! You and your ukulele shall go wanting!

Just wondering about KerrK. Hurt, something else? We are like 4 days away (since the day is over) from our first preseason game. Ky Wesly, Wednesday Night. Ready to see us play against someone else. I am sure the team is ready as well to play other competition. Would be good to have everyone. Did radio or Pope mention anything about KK?

Carr plays like Scott Padgett.

Butler’s offensive game didn’t look good at first. Couldn’t juke Walker Horn. Nice pick and roll action later on though.

I like Williams a lot. He has good hands. Not just an excellent passer but catcher as well.

Running Clock, Elam ending. that is why the score is the way it is.
Yes, I just finished watching it. They ended the game in the same way as the La Familia tournament games ended. They hit a target time in the 2nd half and then set a target score needed to win the game.

And that also accounts for why both teams missed shots in the final five minutes. It was very hard fought because the next bucket would win the game for either team and both teams were playing intense defense and fouling quite a bit. Add in that nobody got a breather here and every possession at the end was highly contested and that's what you get. So, that shouldn't be expected to be a normal stretch in any games this season.

I would add this- I was impressed with the defense across the board. These guys are intelligent defensively, know where to be, how to hedge, how to help, how to close out threes, how to defend the pick and roll, and so on.

I was also impressed with our sharing on offense. The defense prevented some big plays, but they found each other for open shots despite the good D. The three point shooting was good, not great, but I can see the potential. There are multiple guys on this team who can go off from 3.

As for individuals, Robinson did not disappoint and Brea looked the part. The guy who surprised me was Chandler. I've heard coaches raving about his improvement and shaking off the rust of the extended time away from the game, but I see a guy here who can definitely contribute very soon. I was also pleased with Carr. I wasn't surprised because we've expected he will contribute, but he was very steady and can a bit of everything out there. I also really liked what I saw from Williams down low, especially offensively. He finishes well on the break and around the rim. That lefty finish is unorthodox and effective.

Looked like a good game and the roster with a high potential. I'm looking forward to seeing them play someone other than themselves. 👍

The clock ran all second half and they struggled to keep the clock right as at one point said there were 46 minutes left and funny stuff like that so even with the elam ending, the running clock probably meant the game was more like 34 or 35 minutes long

Yeah, he had a reslly good stretch there where he made several shots in a row, including a step back 3, and I thought he looked the part of a starter on the wing. He obviously had a bunch of missed threes, though. It wasn't all good, but I can see why he was considered a high level transfer. He wasn't the most impressive player out there, though.

His shot was off, remember 2 years ago when Reeves had some clunkers every once in a while? It happens . But he did drive to the basket once and put good spin on the ball making a tough basket which is better than just being a shooter if he can do that sometimes to keep defenders honest.

Most impressive stat to me is Butler and Oweh with 7 rebounds each.
Man I can't wait to see Oweh, Butler and Williams on the floor at the same time playing defense. Those are three grown azz men. Something we've really missed the last several years.

Not a good 3pt%. An acceptable one at best (34%)
