He pitched two scoreless for the D-Backs tonight. He's such a good guy and nobody is more deserving. The baseball team has quite a few guys in MLB right now!

NU continues to turn out MLB players despite a shoestring budget, relying on golf outings and a few behind the scenes donors to keep the program afloat. The more successful these ancillary sources of income are, the less NU gives the program-a true "catch 22" scenario. These issues don't even address the fact that the program does not fund a full quota
of scholarships.
I watched the College World Series, UVA had 4 -5 pitchers throwing in the mid to high 90s plus several hitters drafted by MLB. A roster like that is required to withstand a 60 game schedule.
Recruiting to an expensive cold weather school with the above obstacles is not easy
