Bob on crutches

WOW, Bob had a hip replacement last week. Pretty young man for that type of surgery. Here's to a speedy recovery

Here's a bucket of cold water on fellow fans of similar age, reinforcing how fast father time works. Bob's already 4 years older than Barry was when he resigned.

Modern science has improved to the point that hip replacement surgery has become as common, as safe, and with (relatively)

easy recovery as tonsils used to be. Well.........almost. There are a few bumps.

Me too. The total hip was the 2nd worse thing I had done to myself. Sucks to dislocate and rehab those. I could have still be water skiing and trying to play tennis if not for that.
