He was a year ahead of me at Duke. I never met him but I'll ALWAYS be nostalgic about the guys on those teams.

I agree about Duval.

I still think it was a mistake benching him late in the year. From what I remember.

Always loved his toughness. I imagine he coaches the way he played. I would not have a problem with Bobby being our next coach but I can say the same thing about others also. OFC

I try to watch every game on TV that Hurley coaches. He is dynamic and gets all he can out of his team but he's out of control himself. A lot of histrionics. Unless or until he tones himself down I don't see him as a fit at Duke.

I remember Hurley turning the ball over a lot as a freshman. Something to keep in mind when watching our freshman. If not a lot, then his turnovers were spectacular. Ball going into the 10th row and then him getting an earful from Laettner. Of course, guys had time to develop back then.
