Why would he? If programs like Louisville, UNC, and Syracuse are going to pay Millions to coaches that have no integrity, guys like Boeheim are going to collect those checks.

I remember Billy Gillispie saying that to the person he was pretending to talk to on his cell phone.

Why would he leave? If Syracuse hasn't fired him then there's no reason for him to leave. He's been there forever and has been caught cheating twice now and still hasn't lost his job. Says a lot about Syracuse.

I agree. In today's climate that shouldn't happen.

why should he go anywhere? they got a slap on the wrist and he believes/knows he is untouchable...they lost 3 scholarships a year for the next 4 years, rarely do players 11, 12, and 13 ever get on the court so that doesn't do anything,....they got to pick which year they skipped the post season and they picked this year in which they would not make the tourney anyway...the punishment they got is a joke

IDGAF.. Syracuse just died over the weekend and booger-picking Boeheim will not be around to see if Syracuse can ever recover. So they can throw money away if they'd like, but he will never see the same Syracuse again, and that makes me happy.

I'll go as far to say that Syracuse might NEVER recover from this. I wondered how they would even do after Boeheim left, but now this? They are going to have a rough end to the 2010's, and with boeheim will surely be gone well before then... that might be the curtain call for 'Cuse..

I don't know how many of you guys remember the way Boeheim called us out after the Sutton-induced probation. He was one of the loudest critics of UK and Im pretty sure he used terms like "cheaters" and "corrupt" in reference to us.
So now the worm has turned and I'm loving it! "Kiss it, Boeheim! Who's a corrupt cheater now, you turd!"

Bro, you're 70 years old. You might die before the sanctions are lifted. It may be time to take a break.

There's truly not a more deserving coach to get what he's getting.

Bilas says Boeheim is supported by the president. Wow, so a decade long of bad decisions and he's the right guy?

Gillispie was wrong. He got in his car and drove around New Circle Road for a few hours.

I bet they fire him within the next few weeks. Isn't one of his assistants coach in waiting?

He may retire or resign but there is no chance he is being fired.

Yeah, one way or the other I don't think he's back next year. Mike Hopkins has been the coach in waiting since 07.

He played there, and has been an assistant there since 95. I still think they end up firing him after all the backlash they're

gonna receive over this.
