After advancing to the semifinals of the Mountain West tournament, the Boise St women’s volleyball team forfeited their semi-finals match vs San Jose St, The coach said it wasn’t an easy decision, but “They should not have to forgo this opportunity while waiting for a more thoughtful and better system that serves all athletes.”

5 other schools have also canceled games vs San Jose St this season. The Nevada team after forfeiting said they “refuse to participate in any match that advances injustice against female athletes,”.

Even though they have not said what exactly this is about, I think we all know .

I applaud these strong young women for standing up for themselves.

When are these uppity women going to learn that it's a man's world goddamit! Nobody GAF if they feel unsafe or cheated having to play against men, take showers or use the toilet with them, etc. Besides, men make the best women. Ask any demo☭rat. It's the sCIeNcE!11!!😇 🧐

And if you disagree you're a tRaNsPhObIc!11!! rAcI$t!11!! redneck!!1! 🤬

Seriously, this **** will soon be over after Jan 20th the same way it was forced in (by Presidential EO).

The radical left lunatics will then either give it up and shamelessly pretend it never happened, or ...keep pushing it and see an even bigger backlash against their sick, twisted ideology from civilized society. Which we now know is the majority of US citizens.

pRoGrEsSiVe!11!! 🤪 pRoGrEsSiVe!11!! 🤪 pRoGrEsSiVe!11!! 🤪 💩

The bizzaro world seems to be coming to an end. Good riddance and Thank God! Anyone who gets down with that line of thinking is one sick, twisted individual. I never played those games and luckily I was never around one of those freaks or their minions when a convo arose about the subject. I call 'em like I see 'em and I don't ever participate in advancing ones pyschosis. It doesn't help that individual one single bit. It further cripples them.

What's really crazy is it never really existed. Every single person who peddled this insanity knew for a fact it was bs. Thats why they had to cancel and shout down anyone whod point out the insanity.

Shame on them for using social media as a tool to brainwash young people for self beneficial reasons.

Like the lockdown insanity during covid, in 3-5 years you won't be able to find anyone willing to admit they supported this nonsense.

It's such a shame these young ladies must give up on a possible championship, all because of a MAN with mental issues.

Hopefully Jan. 20th will mark the watershed of the Return To Sanity in America.
Trump taking the oath of office again will do nothing to curb the transgender movement's aggressive campaign to have its way to matter what.

Women had to have Title XI just to have equal opportunity to play sports on the collegiate level, and I can understand their frustration to having biological men take opportunities away from them.

If you want to be the person, male or female, you feel you should be I say do what makes you happy. But don't demand others sacrifice their rights and their opportunities for it. Live and let live doesn't mean the rest of us have to shoulder your burdens.

I'm all for live and let live as long as kids aren't involved. It's when it dictates policy is where I draw the line. A lot of spineless cowards out there who let things slide for fear of losing money/social status.

Yeah, I don't care lol. Think it says more about some here that even when I post every few days, a one page thread has three separate posters "calling" me out in an effort to internet fight over more social issues. Get over the obsession with me, guys. Even when I primarily post in a wrestling thread, posters still say my name outside of it. Let it go, hell, let me go for a change.

I'm guessing he/she is a pretty good player vs the girls.

One big advantage (besides the obvious quickness and strength advantages) is the net height for men's and women's volleyball.

The net height for men's NCAA volleyball is higher than the net height for women's NCAA volleyball:
  • Men's: The net height for men's NCAA volleyball is 7 ft 11 5/8 in (2.43 m)
  • Women's: The net height for women's NCAA volleyball is 7 ft 4 1/8 in (2.24 m)

So, image honing your spiking and blocking skills on the higher net, then suddenly you're given a opportunity to play using a net that's 8% lower. Even a below average male player would have quite an advantage if moved to the women's game.

Stories from Coastal Carolina and San Jose suggest this person still has a penis. How is that possible if the person is truly a trans woman? I kind of understand Lia/Will Thomas not immediately going through with the surgery to get used to a new “reality,” but this person has identified as a woman for at least 8 years and is an adult. Why would he still have male genitalia, if he is as he claims?

I worked with one 2 years ago. And he/she had a wife. I have no idea what had down below, and don’t want to know.

Not just a man with mental health issues, but also a complicit university/team that is willing to accommodate his fantasy of pretending to be a woman.

Don’t confuse the real issue here. It’s irrelevant whether the person has mental illness or not, or delusions or not.
The real issue is that a genetic male has clear athletic advantages over a genetic female. Sure you can lessens those advantages some via hormone supplements , but not completely.

Good, but would have preferred they win by forfeit all the way to the NCAA championship.

Would be fascinating if a dude played women's basketball. That I could see determining things n the ncaa tournament. Maybe see some of these woke women's coaches care. Pick any disappointing cal player of the last 5 years and they put on a wig or just say their a girl and they would dominate women's hoops.

This guy and his team in volleyball weren't good enough to win anything anyways.

Not just any dude, but a good college player as a man. Like some comedian tells a joke about LeBron deciding he wants to be trans and averages 100+ per game in WNBA.

One of those girls should have just walked right up to him and kicked his nuts all the way up to his chin. Or punched him right in the sack everytime he played the net.

One of his teammates should have sneak attacked from behind.

If he's a girl how come he hasn't taken a knife or saw and chopped those bad boys off?

Sadly, he probably doesn't have any. My 2nd cousin and two coworkers got their dicks chopped off to be trans. And the scariest part of all of it is that health care covered it for at least one of them (I haven't confirmed the other two). That person was bragging about how the surgery would have cost nearly $250,000 and all they had was some measly co-pays. (Shockingly, all 3 of these people are lazy individuals who just leech of the system).

Sickening to think our tax dollars go to this. If you can get genital surgery like this covered, I shouldn't have to pay a nickel for any health related expenses for the rest of my life.

I guess I'm gullible, but I find it incomprehensible that an insurance company would pay for elective surgery, and if that's true, and I was a policy holder with said company, I would be absolutely furious...

I just have this person's word, never actually saw any proof. But it does seem that in NYS and a lot of other states, this type of surgery can be covered.

I think the fact that a lot of these people took this "handout" of surgery, and further, even bragged about it, tells you there's some mental issues going on. This isn't JUST about wanting to become the opposite sex. Normal people can say "I'm a woman, but I'm defined by liking a lot of traditionally male things" without having try and convince themselves and others that they are literally a different sex.

Well, abortion 99.9% of the time is obviously elective, yet I believe some insurance policies did pay for it.

Learned some info from an article this AM:

Player has been on the San Jose State team for three seasons, and was not an issue until this season, mainly because several teams forgeited in the regular season as a protest against San Jose State. In the final match, he/she did not lead the team in kills (which you would expect, given that she used to be a man)

Also, one of her own SJS teammates sued in Federal Court to keep her/him off the team but the Judge dismissed the case.

Honestly, why doesn't the NCAA come up with a policy to end this controversy once and for all instead of the states and courts piecemealing the issue? I can think of about 1000 things more important to states, courts and Federal governments than the Mountain West womens volleyball tournament (which, the article stated, the final match was attended by maybe 100 fans)
