I think the Magoon situation is proof that none of these “sources” have a clue. They just bet on red and get it right sometimes.
He went to Tuscaloosa yesterday. Bama's Assistant Coach Preston Murphy used to coach the AAU team that Bol Bowen was on-the Expressions. They have an incoming FR from that program London Jemison and that's why they were in deep with AJ Dybantsa too.
Bama also has roster attrition coming as Derrion Reid, Jarin Stevenson and Mo Diabate are all not going to be staying/splitting minutes. So will be interesting to see how this plays out. Kentucky knows their frontcourt needs some reinforcements. Bama does but how many can they retain (1 or 2 of 3? None). If he wants to announce sooner than later, could play a factor in favor of UK.
Magoon situation is where there was a last minute situation, sometimes that happens. It reminds me of Terrance Jones situation. Bol Bowden I dunno, for a big his 3 point percentage is good but I'm not overall impressed. He could have a good jump in numbers in junior season. Could be a good piece in a team concept though.

They trying to stockpile about 32 players? Seems about right. Watching Bama play a ton, seemed like they just kept throwing kids in from the bench who were just as athletic and skilled as starters. And seemed it was an endless supply.
Bad thing with Yaxel is he is projected at number 26 in the nba draft. He may be done with going to school. Maybe we should throw at least 3 million at him. Someone that high gets almost that much at that spot in the nba.
I agree, you have to pay him what the NBA says he is worth. Then give him a year to further develop at a program with the exposure of UK, going against the best players in the country, and he’ll wind up in the lotto.
Usc who wants to go there. They were awful. Alabama is going to lose most of their players from this year,so they going to be either good or awful. USC I can see having lots of money, Bama don't they pay most to their football program?

They had one of those 2010 UK/WVU games that knocked them out…but their roster construction is the right formula. Other than Sears and Holloway at 6’1, every other guard was 6’4 or taller and every 3-5 was 6’7-7’1….including their 10 deep bench. Not just height tho, 1-5 can shoot and handle
I would be fine if we got this kid. He looks pretty skilled and does not mind contact. Plus, his defense would save us a few points per game. If he wants to start though he'll likely go elsewhere.

Why wouldn’t he start here? We have no PF’s and he is very good. At 6’10 he could play center too
