I hope he stays the course. He just seems to be not very happy. I hope he has learned and goes to work. I hope he is happy here and does not transfer. I have a bad feeling.

He is quoted in today's Tribune as saying, "I will get together with the coaches and need to get better". Also said I'll get in the weight room and put on a couple of pounds and watch lots of film in order to become a better point guard. Doesn't sound like a guy who's planning on transferring.

When our backcourt dominates next year with Booberry we can call them the Captain crunches

That's a pretty self aware comment.

Boo is a score first point guard. Who averaged 26.5 pts in HS. He has shown he can get really hot. DePaul and MSU games showed a little Trae Young in him. His floater is elite and a phenomenal weapon.

But he is not good enough to carry the whole team behind his scoring ability. He is not Marcus Howard. He's got to turn more into an engine for the entire offense.

That's a great assessment. But I think he IS capable of winning a few games when he's on. He reminds me so much of Tre Demps. Tre really flourished once we moved him from the PG spot, I wonder if we will do the same with Boo

Boo needs to stay a primary ball handler. He’s shown flashes of some good court vision.

I don't totally disagree, but that's only because of who we have on the roster. If we had a "pure" PG like Juice or Sobo sitting on the bench I would want to move him off the ball. But I don't think Greer (closest thing to a pure PG) should be starting in the Big 10.

i disagree. i feel he was at his best when he was not focused on running the team. either playing with spencer or with free flow playing. running the team was not a strength

Boo's an assassin. He has anti freeze in his veins. He's Helter Skelter in a good way. Don't ask him to move the pawns around the chess board. Ty will do that, and Ty's shooting will free up Boo and his straight razor to Sweeny Todd the guy guarding him.
