A thug wouldn’t donate and contribute as much to charity as DMC does. He was tough on the court but nice as heck off of it. Draymond is 1000x worse than Cousins yet he doesn’t have the “thug” label.
Exactly. All because he played on legendary teams. I’ve never seen one NBA player whose reputation was more boosted by a great duo than his was.

What? Donating money and how you act are two different things. Hell, most charity is just a way to write off taxes or funnel money into your own pockets.

We all have our flaws. And boogie is one of my all time favorites. But he did threaten to kill his baby mama. Theres no excuse for that.

Rasheed Wallace says "Hold my beer"
Sheed was an *** because the league officials had it out for him. I watched an hour long video of him and former team mates talking about all the crazy things that happened in and after games.

It takes a 2 second Google search to see how involved DMC has been or is involved in the community. But that probably blows your cynical mind that sometimes people do good things in charity out of the kindness in your heart. I used to compete in amateur boxing. Anyone in front of me I wanted to kill in the ring. Outside of it, I’d go hang out with them. Some people have a switch when it comes to competitiveness.

A few Kings fans have said that when he played for Sacramento he did alot for the community that he didn’t allow the media to show .

There’s a lot of people who have done a lot of Samaritan work that people called thugs. Some of them, like 2Pac literally was a self-proclaimed thug, yet was a philanthropist. I’ve never been a fan of exalting humans to the level of mythical heroes or 8-bit villains. While there are some rare exceptions, most people are a mixed bag and more bad than good. I base that anthropological notion principally on the teachings of holy scriptures. Many of us wouldn’t want our every thought being made visible and yet many of our “villains” show they are image bearers of God while we cast our stones at them.

If Draymond doesn't have the thug label he certainly should.

Cousins isn’t a thug. He’s competitive. He has a bad attitude a lot of times. I like the attitude if he’s on my team. He’s not a thug at all. He’s a millionaire that gives back.

So what about off the court when he threatened to choke and kill a woman?

You can donate money and/or you can donate your time and energy to causes as you see fit.
OR
You can sit on a message board hypothesize and criticize the motives of others who are donating their time, money, and/or other resources.

Cousins is actually a really good dude butttt he doesnt take anything off anyone. He's always been labeled as a thug even when he was at UK.
I think without the injuries he still has a very nice career. People are asses look at Draymond , but if you perform it's all good. Cuz got the short end of the injury stick.
Should he have acted better? 100% however he would still be in the NBA if not for the injury's I believe.

Let’s not kid ourselves. If Cousins had played for any College team besides Kentucky, every single one of us would call him a thug.
