I would put the odds of us winning pretty low but the chance for having fun really, really high. If you have never been there for a game you need to go.

Where are you staying? Is it best to be close to BDS or is there some other area that would be better? I know nothing about Tuscaloosa.

Went down there for a game (UofL game believe it or not) many, many years ago. Stayed in B'ham; at least a 2 hour drive with game traffic. After getting parked I recall walking through a sea of RVs, finally asking a guy in the first row when he got there for such a good spot, "Wednesday" he replied in a southern drawl. They beat the snot out of us but were good fans back then. Fell in with a bunch that took us out to dinner with them and some bar hopping before heading back.

Peace

Pretty sure they've widened I-20 since then. Hell, I think they widened it before I left in 2006. Was just there in August to see Phish, stayed in Hoover near Galleria at Hampton Inn Suites, got to Tuscaloosa in about 45 minutes in fairly busy traffic. Going with the flow is still 80+mph. Even in game day traffic, I'd still stay in Hoover b/c there isn't anything to do in Tuscaloosa and it's crazy crowded with fans on game day.
