I seriously believe If Boom and Benny were wearing Alabama colors, they'd be getting praise from every direction but since they're with us, hardly nothing.
Snell did not play the first 2 games. He might have another 200 yards more right now. We still have 2 games left so their numbers will only get better.
This is an impressive statistic regardless if you are a UK fan or not. What makes it more impressive is that Benny didn't play the first 2 games. He was also the closer and behind Kemp the next game is 2. Just imagine what it could be like next season pending the outcome of a few scenarios.
First and most important does Boom take his chances with the NFL or does he return. Their stats are impressive and could be even better with both players having another round of the off-season S&C program.
Second is there going to be a drop off from the line from losing Toth. Personally replacing Toth is going to be the hardest thing this off-season. It's not just his talent but his leadership that's going to be missed greatly. While replacing Toth is a major hurdle there is one thing that should make it easier. The rest of the line should but improved with another season under their belts.
Third who is going to be the starting QB next season. Benny and Boom are very talented without a doubt. But having a QB that can run has helped keep the defense honest and helped open up holes. It can be argued that having a more polished passing QB could open the run game up even more. Hopefully Johnson can improve his short to intermediate passing.
Next season has the potential to be something really special.
