That’s typical of Boone! The town shuts down and everyone goes skiiing, snowboarding, tubing and then hits the local taverns. It’s oretty great for college kids.

Not typical per what I’ve read. They average 35” of snow a year. They currently have 29” on the ground and they’re not halfway through December.

The upper mountains and the ski resorts can get quite a bit of snow but I believe Boone itself may have got at least 12 - 15 inches but as i said before, they’re use to getting snow.
