Not Sooners-related but an FYI..... Oilman, businessman and OSU benefactor Boone Pickens passed away today at age 91.

I had the opportunity to meet TBP in Amarillo at Mesa Petroleum HQ in 1986, as a member of a team providing a project cost analysis for the Kern River Pipeline Project. He seemed to be a gentleman and his staff all spoke highly of him. RIP
