The funny thing about our team is we play according to the style of game our opposition plays. WF has a high scoring offense so we gear up our offense with some really good plays to score with. JMU plays this run the clock up the middle run game so we see no need to run scoring plays like we did against WF. If this was a basketball game I would say that JMU is definitely controlling the tempo.

JMU is 10 times better coached than Louisville and this is far from a fluke. They are getting ready to run it all over us just watch.

It was a 7 point spread won easily. I still think you get more out of playing good teams then cupcakes.

I have never understood why any poster would self destruct by watching a few minutes of a football game and make comments or predictions like that.

Satterfield made the correct adjustments on both sides of the football in the second half ……. 21-0.

JMU is a very formidable opponent and is recognized nation wide as extremely well-coached. Listen to Curt Cignetti’s post game comments about how UL’s 2nd half adjustments resulted in such dominating fashion.

I agree they need to soften up the schedule. This is all about winning. It is clear nothing else matters. As a fan I them playing Georgia and Texas A &M but talent wise they just aren’t there. The risk is too high playing those games can derail a season.

Apparently scheduling cupcakes can get you in the playoffs or in the conversation. Cincinnati, TCU and Tulane are a few teams this year and last year that have been in the playoff or conversation and none of those teams play an impressive schedule.

Don’t forget the slappies up I-64. They have turned playing cupcakes into an art form.

JMU was taking the air out of the ball throughout the first half. Reminded me of the Duke game here in 2016…maybe 2017. It can be effective in lulling the opponent (us) into sleepwalking. Worked in the first half. Not so much in the second.

I know. Almost got sucked into it myself when Malik was doing his running around near the end of the first half. Thought it better to wait for the game to play out before pulling the trigger.

Play calling the 2nd half was totally different than the 1st half.
We should have had two more touchdowns in the first half but Malik missed open receivers in the end zone. "A couple times I pulled it (and ran) when I wasn't supposed to," Cunningham said. Satt said they stayed with the game plan in the 2nd half. Somebody getting in Malik's ear obviously showed it's effects when he stepped up in the pocket and hit Hudson in stride for the TD.
