So when they announce our bowl game, are you going. I suppose if it is close by, within a few hours driving, it would be great to see. Belk, Music City, Peach :)stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), Liberty, Birmingham.

Would be great to go to the Bahama Bowl.

I attended every bowl when Brooks was here. I doubt this will be a bowl year for us. But if possible, I will continue to attend bowls when we get back.

Assuming we beat our OOC cupcake which gets us to 4 wins, we're going to have to beat a Mississippi State team that beat South Carolina by two touchdowns and lost to LSU in Death Valley by a score of 23-20. Mississippi State will still be favored in the game against us and still has the better roster and coaches. State isn't the team they were the past couple years, but they are still the better team. A bad team doesn't go on the road and have a chance to beat LSU.

After that we would have to beat a Georgia team that will likely be favored by close to double digits against us, or get a win on the road against a Missouri team that plays really well at home and will be favored to win.

Basically we're going to have to win a couple games where we won't be favored if we want to get to a bowl, so I'm not sure why going bowling seems like such a sure thing to so many of our fans right now, especially after the numerous blunders we've seen from this coaching staff since they stepped on campus.

The Peach Bowl is one of the New Years Day 6 bowls so you can cross that one out.

Wait, what? Have I been in a coma for an entire year and it is now 2017?

I fully trust Stoops but I do not have any confidence in this team making a bowl this year.

I'll try to go if we make it. I'll definitely go if we are within a day's drive like Nashville, Memphis or Birmingham.

South Alabama beat miss state. Only beat umass by 12. Uk is playing better football than them right now. I expect a win this week

Means nothing! UF blew us out and barely beat Vandy, then we beat Vandy.....these analogies look good on paper, but not on the field.

Although I am not one to pump the sunshine, I will submit several objections to your response.

First, there's no reason to "assume" a win against our OOC cupcake because it is not an "assumed" win. It's a given. This is not a typical midmajor cupcake. It's not a typical FCS cupcake. Austin Peay is to the rest of the FCS football world as we are to Alabama. Austin Peay went 0-11 last year, against FCS competition. We will be favored by 50 points, if a line is even allowed for this game. No need to assume a win; just write this one down. This is not a game against EKU. Not even close.

Second, while Mississippi State may be favored against us, which is questionable, it is odd to say that a bad team doesn't almost beat LSU while yet losing to South Alabama- at home. In any event, you can't have it both ways. If the Bulldogs are this great team, and we have to expect to lose, then how can you deny that we have an excuse to lose to such a powerhouse, that almost beat LSU? We lose this game and you will rip the UK team, and I'm sure you will, but you are now telling us that's it uphill and almost insurmountable battle from the start?

Next, Mizzou is not a good team- at all. 0-3 against the FBS, and if LSU is the measuring stick for MSU, then how about Mizzou losing to LSU by 35:

Georgia is not beyond the realm of possibility for a win.

But if these teams are so good, how are you going to complain, if we do, in fact, lose?

Dak Prescott is not walking through the door.

All we need to do is beat Miss Suri and Miss Sippee State. Ahhh Stin Pea is a gimmee.

I said it when we were 0-2. We are bowl bound.

Stoops may not be the coach to continue the ascent, but we are going this year.

I'm officially done supporting UK in any way financially, I will however watch on TV.
I'm aking it a step further. I plan on getting free tickets to the Austin Peay game and then taking many rolls of toilet paper from commonwealth to bolster my home supply.

That tough miss st is 2-4. I bet their own fans aren't penciling in a win against uk yet some of our fans are. I don't get it?

Gotta get the wins first, Folks assuming because Vandy beat UGA that UK will beat them are way ahead of themselves. MSU is a lot better than their record IMO.
One thing UK football has proven over the years, never assume anything.

So miss state is a good team based on what? Giving an lsu team a close game? Losing to south Alabama? Surviving umass? Or was it the throttleling auburn gave them? Byu maybe... lost that one too! Honestly lsu is all you have to back them being good and this lsu team was in shambles when they beat the dogs. Uk, ga, Mizzou, miss st, vandy are all pretty close.

I am a realist too. The fact is UK could win between 5 and 7 games may as well be positive until after they are mathematically eliminated from bowl contention
You mean after 180 million in upgrades and 4 years of a coach that got a extension we MIGHT mathematically get to go to some bottom feeder crappy bowl.

I'm so excited.

In no way does MSU have any better roster than UK! If CMS is able to stay as long at UK as Mullen has at MSU I believe he will out perform Mullen.
