Anyone on here been following either? I'll post the tables for the major leagues:

BPL:

1) Man City
2) Arsenal
3) Leicester City
4) Man Utd.
5) West Brom

Bundesliga:

1) Bayern Munich
2) Dortmund
3) Wolfsburg
4) Shalke

La Liga:

1) Real Madrid
2) FC Barca
3) Celta Vigo
4) Atletico

BPL this year is going to be interesting. I honestly don't think Man United is a top 4 team and Chelsea...dear god they have completely and totally folded. Leicester and West Brom IMO are better than Man U. I also think Liverpool could make a push for top 4. Now that Benteke is back they have 3 really good goal scorers in Benteke, Sturridge and Coutinho. Ultimately I think the league title comes down to Arsenal and Man City. Arsenal is playing at an extremely high level and Man City have some health issues with Aguero and De Brunye (sp?).

Even though Arsenal beat Bayern, I still think they are the best team in the world...but a Real Madrid-Bayern Munich Champions League final would be epic! You cant ever count out FC Barca though... and PSG could make some noise as well. IMO Bayern is just too good though.

I'm a big Man U fan because when we first got cable their games were always on BBC2.

It's soccer. The only sport an announcer has a heart attack when a team scores. Not hard to imagine they have a hard time scoring. Just like every other soccer team known to man.

"Real Madrid" begs the question, "Why isn't there a Fake Madrid?"
There once was. Kinda. Back in 1847 there were two teams named Madrid. They had a showdown to see who was worthy to really bear the name Madrid. The match was hard fought and tension was in the air. Failing to be settled in regulation, the battle went into overtime. Still at a riveting 0-0 tie, it went into penalty kicks. Miss after miss, it came down to the last kick. But before it could be taken, the coach of the team now known as Real Madrid leapt from his sideline and in one motion, pulled out a huge sword and decapitated the coach of the opposing Madrid, highlander style. Because after all, there could be only one.

Am I the only one who thinks Man City sounds like a gay bar? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

And Man United sounds like they got married. Again, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Don't let these rubes get up in your thicket. If they can't have a good time watching the Osward Sillynannies pram down on the Stahlford-on-Thames ChipsEaters on the pitch then they're not worth floxing you bollocks on.

Remember that one time that dude faked a leg injury to draw a yellow card? Was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

You wanna know boring? Try trying to watch baseball... Talk about a snooze fest with commercials every half inning and pitching change. Or how about many football games. Kickoff, timeout, commercial, touchdown, commercial, kickoff, commercial, punt, commercial.

At least woth soccer you get 45+ minitez of non stop coverage, then a 10 minite halftime followed by another 45 minutes. Just because a game ends 1-0 doesnt mean its not full of action. Hell the Arsenal-Bayern Munich gsme ended 2-0 was a great gMe wirh a ton of action. Id love to know the demographics of those of you who had the smartass comments. News flash, study recently done by huffington post and the timez revealed that men age 18-43 watch and follow the NFL #1, and then BPL/Bundeslig/La Liga soccer ranks 2nd. So many of you think its boring/uneventful..... Obviously you are the minority or else fox wouldnt have bought the rights to the bundesliga and the world cup, nbc wouldnt invest in the BPL, and ESPN wouldnt have a bid in for La Liga.

I'm old enough to know that kick keep away is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Oh look, he kicked it back to that guy again. He's going forward! Wait, and we're back to the other guy. Riveting competition, really.

In my day, we had stickball. You know what that was?! A stick, and a ball! And we were glad to have it, and made more interesting games than this "sport" you call soccer.

Clearly these bids are paying off. I'm having to go to second rate channels to pick up my real football on the weekends instead of having them on multiple networks on prime time. Good investment ESPN. What's next, a premium movie channel showing exclusive boxing matches? That'll go over well.

I think you mean West Ham in your OP. They are playing extremely well.

Manchester City are still top of the league but not by a large margin. It was a good win for them today in Champions League play against Sevilla. I actually think we have the squad to make a deep run this year (hopefully not getting Barcelona in the round of 16 for the 3rd year in a row.)

I'm just hoping my Gunners can get out of the group round... Real Madrid looked really good today. That game with PSG should've been 4-0. Could be Ronaldo's next team though... I'd prefer a US team get him, but he has like a €1 billion buyout worth $1,095,500,000.00.

The game with PSG should've been 4-0 for PSG, but Real was without Bale/Benezema/James. If Real doesn't stay healthy in attack they won't win (playing Ronaldo as center forward is terrible)

PSG convinced me they are a serious threat to win it this year

I agree about PSG. They got exactly what they needed with Di Maria. The roster is ridiculous with Zlatan, Cavani , Di Maria, Matuidi, David Luis, Veratti, Pastore, Thiago Silva, Lavezzi, Thiago Motta. They have so much quality depth and can defend. Keeper is still a question mark for me and Zlatan is getting old.

Chelsea fan, oh boy they went off of the rails rather quickly. I think Courtois being out is a huge deal. Fabregas adds nothing. Was excited about Pedro but he hasn't provided anything. I don't know what's up with Matic. Back four has been beyond dreadful. Diego hasn't provided much and is a walking red card waiting to happen. I don't know what's happened to Hazard. Guess he just wants to get out of dodge and head to Madrid. If they continue to lose wonder if they will ship him in January. I don't think it's Jose fault, the players aren't performing. Hoping they get it turned around but not holding my breath. Think Jose will be sacked sooner than later.
