Bracketology 1/22. Would LOVE this bracket for UK.

Lots of juicy storylines, potentially.

A 2nd round matchup against either Indiana or Oklahoma State and Travis Ford.

Sweet Sixteen against Louisville. Or maybe revenge for 1984 against Georgetown.

Possibly another Elite Eight matchup with North Carolina.

That bracket would provide a possible road to the Final Four with successive wins against Indiana, Louisville, and North Carolina.

Delicious.

I would like to play ul and unc again, but no way do I want iu to play under the spotlight that we provide. Simply being allowed to play UK is their biggest achievement of the last 20 years.

If that draw comes to fruition, it would be by far the toughest region with a very tough 8 seed (IU), probably the best 4 seed (UL), and the best 2 or 3 seed (UNC or UW).

It wouldn't shock me, as we have never been gifted with a Duke-like cakewalk.

We're gonna play tough games eventually, might as well be in our region - means the final four is a coronation. I seriously don't think it matters what our draw ends up being.

Just cannot see why anyone would love this bracket. On any given night UL, Wisconsin, and Especially NC could beat us. North Carolia is really playing well now. Just look at the walk through Duke would have . They have Maryland as a 2 seed and Iowa St as a 3 seed. It just sickens me the easy bracket Duke always gets.

Totally agree with this. If you look around the country, there are a handful of teams that could beat us on a given night. I'd rather avoid them until the final four. Wisconsin, Duke, UL, UNC, and maybe a few others.

looks like they put all the good teams in the east. UVA & Duke have absolute cake walks.

i would like to play against west coast teams.

That way, our home court advantage will be HUGEEEEEEEEEE.

What I am continuing to see in these brackets is Virginia getting cakewalk. I know Kansas and Nova are good teams, but other than that they have nobody in their bracket.

Would prefer eithe dUKe's or UVA's region. Those are much less daunting than what Lunardi currently has in UK's region.

Maybe we can talk the NCAA into just handing us the trophy at the conclusion of the regular season.

I have never, NEVER, understood the thinking behind wanting a cakewalk to the championship.

I would welcome the chance to beat Indiana, Louisville, and North Carolina on the way to the title. Makes it so much more sweeter.

Loved winning that region in 2011 to get to the Final Four. Beating top seed Ohio State and North Carolina made that Final Four trip even more satisfying.

Give me a region with the likes of Duke, Kansas, Arizona, etc., instead of Northern Iowa or Belmont.

I love big games against big time programs.

Agreed.

Rooting hard for Wisconsin to roll the rest of the way...same with Duke.

Robb does not get it. No one is scared of the above teams. We just want to play them when we are supposed to, in a Final Four or National Title game match up. Those are not teams UK should have to play in their region IMO. And if either drops to a 2 seed they will be in our region. Wisconsin you can make the argument for based on geography but Duke should get sent east 100% if they are not doing it for "match ups" and such.

I'd love that bracket. They'd be awesome games to watch as much as I'd love for us to win. Winning beating the best vs beating so so teams is more satisfying.

Reminds me of what a wise kentucky fan once told me at the sec tournament a few years back when we were talking about not wanting to face someone specific. He told me "We're Kentucky son, we don't fear playing anyone." People worried about a tough bracket are afraid of losing. I'd rather prove were the best by beating the best.

Typical Duke cake-walk bracket. Lunardi not usually like this but for sure the committee will be. Surprised he even has Texas in Duke's draw. Duke will get teams with no inside presence like Iowa St and Maryland. Big 10 with 6 teams is a joke.
