I must have missed it. When did hof coach roy williams turned him down and tell him he wasn't the type of player that could play at unc cheater u and he just didn't have the quality of the carolina way. How does a kid take that when he knows he's not wanted at cheater hill and has to play elsewhere. OFC

I love when people just assume because of a ranking kids will return for another year or will automatically leave. If he has a if year next year, Joey Baker is likely gone. If a kid sucks, no matter how high he’s ranked, always a chance he returns. Cracks me up when people just know based off a number what a kids gonna end up doing for 4 years.

It sucks cause he was one of the players i wanted to most but it’s not as disappointing as i thought. We’ve must’ve seen it coming because we’ve positioned us well with players like steward and Henry Coleman who are very talented as well. Also might have to do with why we offered ziaire Williams. He’s like Boston in the fact that he’s long and is a very good shooter. Would be a nice player to get on and land since we missed on Boston

I wanted Boston, but I would much rather have Jalen Johnson! Jalen is going to be a stud, but losing out on Boston stinks though, but not as bad if Duke lost out on Johnson.

It is what it is. If there’s one thing we don’t have to worry about as Duke fans it’s recruiting. 10 years ago I would have been wrong, but not now.

Let’s not post that Boston isn’t that good. That’s what Rupp Rafters does after they miss out on recruits and we’re better than that.

I agree about posting Boston is not that good . Would have loved to have him. We have never been able to get them all and never will. We've been blessed to have great talent through the years with hof coach roy williams rejects. It must have been tough for Boston to hear hof coach roy williams tell him he wasn't an unc cheater fit. Boston will learn eventually what a blessing that was. UK benefited this time from being a unc cheater u reject.OFC

I can tell you this. Duke did not purchase a home for Zion's family live in. That would be unethical . What happened was that Coach K and his family moved into a Motel 6 for the time Zion was with Duke and Zion's family stayed there. To make it so it wasn't a NCAA violation all the asst. coaches also moved into the same Motel 6 but student body's families moved into the asst. coaches homes. That way Zion's families would not have been given special treatment just because he was an elite athlete. Got the idea from unc cheater u. Take this and repost it at RR. :) OFC

I hope that Motel 6 at least left the light on for Coach K and his family!

I saw K at motel 6 one night, I wondered what the hell he was doing there. I wonder if Memphis had a regular student cheat on the SAT would it be ok for D Rose?

There are two things that go around over there that just make me shake my head.
1. If they went somewhere besides UK, they were paid.
2. And this one kills me! If you didn’t actually attend Duke, then you are bandwagon fans!! And we both know that probably half that board did not attend UK!!! There’s even fans there that are from other states, but they are TRUE BLUE! LOL!!!

The biggest thing that bothers me about Rafters, and yes I am a UK fan, but when we say we didn't want someone when they commit to another school. i.e., we didn't want Zion anyway we backed off him.
