Without his effort in the first half it would have been much worse. He is improving like crazy.
Yeah that was atrocious. He was yelling after a strong and 1 and walking by a defender. You see worse after ever and 1.How about the worst technical foul we’ve seen in a decade called against Garrison? What an absolute criminal move.
Garrison is getting better by the week. If he develops a post game watch out.
He’s gonna be a dude next year, luckily big men are not a priority for the league except in certain cases like a wemby, Edey, etc..Pope has been telling us he is a good shooter, he has a good shooting form. Kid is just going to better. Hope he stayed another year or two for UK.
Yes it was. That technical that ref gave Brandon was ******** I mean absolute horseshit call .

TBF, from OUR angle (I'm assuming everyone's stream had the correct angle) and the calling ref's, it *sort* of looked like taunting. I believe one of the announcers (I didn't have the Leach feed) suggested that. If I were a player I'd walk away from the opponent when getting super excited.Yep, the official made a very egregious rookie mistake…you never make a call on a play that you don’t see.
The official saw him get excited, but he didn’t have the angle to see Garrison wasn’t even looking at the Gonzaga player.
That call should’ve ONLY been made by either of the other 2 officials because they were the only ones with the angle to see it properly.

See refs do it all the time. Reaction calls and anticipation calls. That's the problem... he did NOT have the angle to make that call.
I officiated when years ago, and you just do not make that call when you cannot see exactly what happened.

Except he was just fouled so he was walking away from the rim and towards the freethrow line while shouting at his own teammates and flexing. The under the basket called the T looking at his back bc their was a Gonzaga player walking by himTBF, from OUR angle (I'm assuming everyone's stream had the correct angle) and the calling ref's, it *sort* of looked like taunting.
