Every team needs a few psychopaths, and BG has the highest potential for that.
I absolutely love that he's coming back. He almost started a fight with the entire Oklahoma Sooners team down in Norman. That alone makes me think that there's true Magloire potential with this one.
Probably not sending them for every returnee…just the ones that there have been rumors swirling about departing

I’m not always his biggest fan in these comments! But due to the JQ injury uncertainty, his return makes more sense than if we would’ve signed any other top C in the portal.
Retention where you can get it is always nice. I do think age/experience is most valuable to bigs so I’m hopeful he progresses.

Yeah. That makes sense. Putting it out there so the talking heads aren’t fueling rumors about BG and him getting targeted for no reason w negativity

If he can get those arms a little stronger, I think he'll learn how to impose his will. Gotta get better defensively and on rebounds. I'm sure he'll get plenty of practice against the other bigs.
With him returning, that means that, ostensibly, we'll have two guards, two wings, and a PF/C familiar with the system to help the others come along more quickly.
Y'all, next season will be fun.

I think Garrison returning is good for UK.
I am not convinced JQ will be ready for the start of the year. And Garrison has been in the system for a year. I look for him to be a better player next year.

I think by next March some of the Garrison doubters will realize just how big him returning was.
Heard scuttlebutt that Oweh will return to UK unless he's got a guaranteed spot in the first round of the draft. Chandler's wife is moving to Lexington soon, so that should tell you all you need to know there.
I'm not personally worried about either of them. Could be wrong, of course, but I'm confident we keep them.

This is really good news I love that he will get to develop under 2 years with Pope! CONTINUITY!
And Noah and Perry have announced returns. And chandlers finance is moving to Lexington. So unless they are going to do long distance and she’s moving here and him elsewhere, I expect him back
I think Chandler will be asked to work on his ball handling and decision making over the summer. I can see him being the back up PG. it might be why Pope doesn’t be all in on another guard.

I like this. I think BG can improve this year.
Glad we're getting him back for depth and continuity but hate that it seems he held out for more money. Hopefully we didn't pay him much more, if any.
