Great article. I've really enjoyed watching him play throughout the season and hopefully we get to see a few more games of him in a Duke uniform!

Couple of things. His dad spoke just prior to BI's announcement. Said he hoped that those who were Brandon Ingram fans would remain Brandon Ingram fans AFTER he signed. At that exact moment , I KNEW he was comin' to Duke. His dad said that for a REASON. He lives in NC and knows unx fans up close and personal. They're petty douchebags and he knew his son was likely to catch a bunch of grief from 'em after signing with Duke. The scandal excuse kinda fell into their laps. Blaming it , Brandon could sign with the school he always wanted to play for to begin with and unx fans would grudgingly accept it. "That damn NCAA! Messin' up Roy's recruiting an' all. We woulda had Ingram yada yada yada!" unx fans can believe what they want about his intentions but Brandon's where he wants to be. Like I said , the scandal just gave the Ingram's an excuse to sign with Duke that the tarhole nation could live with.

"From what I hear it was pretty obvious," Stackhouse said with a laugh. "They say when he was a kid a Duke jersey was pretty much all he wore. But I don't seem to remember him ever wearing it around me."

lol I particularly liked this part, and kudos to Stackhouse for having some class and humor about it, even w/ some undercurrent of rivalry banter.
