So basically we already see what happens when other teams try to limit our 3's .... We can beat you in other ways....

And we see what happens on a given night when ...
Carr, or Jax scores 2 ...
We've got many other options to go to. Focusing on one player to stop will not beat Kentucky this year. No one single player can be the focus of another team. It's fools gold if they think that.

The offense of this team is grade A. On any given night. Period.

So, the key to this season will be how well we develop defensively, how well we rebound the ball, and this team has the size, ability, and talent, as well as experience, to get better at both.

As long as this team plays with extreme energy, hustle, out - working the other team, we won't lose a game where we come away saying :" They outhustled us".... Nope.

We may lose a few games where collectively we just fall slightly short, but we're getting a clearer picture of what this team really is, going forward.

We got a contender, folks. And really, isn't that all we really ask for, as fans?
(Unless you're HH! 😉)

So proud of the team!

Go Big Blue !

In 2 our of our 4 games he is perfect from behind the arc. Cannot imagine he can keep that up but man if he could have 20 our of 40 games with multiple makes and those 20 games being perfect from 3. Would be something we would probably not ever see again in our lifetime. Dude is good.

Yeah, if he's got his feet set, he's almost automatic. I see him shooting and I'm expecting him to make it every time.

I haven't even seen the ball scrape the rim on the way through. That is one heck of a pure shot.

The issue for defenses is, they can't sell out on Brea, there are usually 3 other great shooters on the floor with him. Heck, Jaxson is a master at just walking up and nailing a 3 in rhythm and now Butler is catching some fire. We know Oweh can't be left open.

This is what happens when you play your best players and this team still has a lot of things to improve on. That's crazy.

I noticed that as well. He never touches the rim. Always a swish. We’ve had him for four games and he’s been so fun to watch in Pope’s offense.

4 gms

Thats basically 4 made threes a game on basically 5 att a game..

If he makes his next 3 he will be shooting 80% from 3 on 20 attempts.

That has to be the greatest start from 3 in UK history!!!!
He would be 4/19 if cal and his negativity was coaching

Oh look a reasonable post. What have you done with the real HH?
You cannot fool me ...

First thread of yours that im 100% on board about.

He's different. The ball doesn't even touch the rim on most of his shots. He's got a good degree of variance that he can be off and still be possible to hit the shot. Remember 2 balls will go through a hoop at the exact same time beside each other makes it even more impressive. For his future shooting potential.
KB that I remember had missed a few threes long hitting back rim but I don't remember not a single one being anything but dead on target. 2 of those 3s misses were to end the first half of a game one he was rushed on the other was deep against Duke I don't really count either against him. . Hard to have many bad misses shooting 80% anyways lol. On true motion offense Brea has missed 2 threes all year.

Watched a video on the Field of 68 channel last night, and they were discussing UK (I believe it was before we played), and they were very complimentary. Even Hansborough, who made it clear he is not a fan of the school, but he said he loves Pope and this team. But each of them spoke for several mins about us, not one of them ever mentioned Brea. Very strange.

At least one of his misses was a logo shot as time was running out in the first half.

Miller went 16 of 46 in those 1st 4 games in 1989

Brea has gone 15 of 19 in his historic three point barrage in the 1st 4 games of 2024; 35 yrs later.

There is no comparison. Size Brea for the Champ belt.

Miller’s 1st 4 gm stretch is somewhere around 33%.

Brea’s antics are nearly 80%.

Brea for Treya all daya!!! He’ll make you paya! Dont worry, everything is oka!

🤡 troll. The worthless Vikings have never nor will they ever win a super bowl
How the hell does a guy claiming to be from Kentucky root for a team in Minnesota in the first place?
You claim they are winning tge super bowl every year. EPIC FAIL after EPIC FAIL Predictions .
Also why does a gut who claims to be in his 50s act like a 5 year old year after year and this goes back years. Hell you claimed Gillespie was going to win a title. I know I read you're dribble long before this board existed.
You also slurped Cal and claimed national champions every November.

Field of 68 and Southeastern 14 have figured out the best way to be successful, is to have as much UK content as possible. Positive or negative.

But, if you can get Psycho T to say something positive about UK, either we're really good, or mother earth has changed rotation.

I watched a video on YouTube today by the Southeastern 16 or something like that and one of the three guys was talking about Brea’s shooting and how he never even touches the rim on his shots. He said he went and watched every shot that he’s taken and made so far and that only 1 of his 15 makes actually grazed the rim. That’s nuts.

Southeastern 14. He watched all of Brea's 3 point shot makes. That doesn't surprise me, that guy puts the work in, when he talks about a stat, yiu can believe it's correct.
