Nicholson and Hunger have 3 and 4 years of eligibility.Great - the savior is coming…
Will the team have anyone over 6’6” besides hunger in a couple of years?
At this point, both are unproven.Nicholson and Hunger have 3 and 4 years of eligibility.
How many years of eligibility does Nicholson still have? Really.Nicholson and Hunger have 3 and 4 years of eligibility.

Aren’t both 5’s? Four guards and one of them?Nicholson and Hunger have 3 and 4 years of eligibility.
Nice looking jumper but can he get more than 6 inches off the floor?
Big Matt has 2 regular years, plus the Covid year exemption.Aren’t both 5’s? Four guards and one of them?
Big Matt has 2 regular years, plus the Covid year exemption.
Luke Hunger has 4 years.
Beran and Verhoeven have one season to play.
Martinelli is a freshman, 6'7" or 6'8". Hoping he can play.
and sophomore Brooks Barnhizer...
Then there's freshmen Gus Hurlburt (at 6'9") and Blake Smith (6'6"). They don't have the credentials normally associated with Big Ten starters.
The article about Parker Strauss says Collins is targeting THREE GUARDS AND A WING for the Class of 2023.
If that holds true, we will be thin not only at the 3, but also the 4.
Verhoeven is the only player on the roster definitively in his final season. Beran has another year of eligibility after this one if he wants it, as do Audige and Buie.
Is this correct... The NCAA always gave athletes 5 years to complete 4 full seasons of competition, but decided that the first Covid season doesn't count (as a full season) and gave everybody 6 years to complete 4 full seasons?
In other words, anybody who was on a roster in 2020-21 gets to (potentially) play 5 seasons, as long as they do it within 6 years after starting college?
And grad school (Audige, Young, Beran and Nance) is no different than undergrad when it comes to eligibility? All 4 of those guys got their undergrad degrees in June.
It sounds like Beran is planning on playing two more years!
Six star ⭐️ recruit! First time in history!
I'd give him seven unicornsSix star ⭐️ recruit! First time in history!
Speaking of the class of 2023, is there any news on Blake "Don't call me Charles" Barkley, the Putnam CT kid who committed but didn't sign? We could use his size coming in.
Being a nominee isn’t really anything that special. Last year there were 760 nominees. For what it's worth he got a McDonald's all american nomination.
He’s averaging 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game, all team highs, on a team that’s 15-8. He’s attempting fewer than 10 shots a game. I don’t see 3-pt shooting separated out but he’s shooting 43% overall.I'd give him seven unicornsjust for having two last names.
Seriously, I hope this kid can shoot the lights out from the arc. That's what this team needs.

I guess anything is possible.Still wondering about this…could we have him sitting in Purple Purgatory waiting on the decisions of Boo, Chase and Beran? Is there room for him if all three return along with an incoming transfer to replace TV?
To be precise, Cats have 11 since Roy Dixon III got a scholarship this season. But he'll be gone after this year.Cats have 10 out of 13 schollie in use. Two signed commits minus VH means there are two more schools unused for next season in this moment regardless of Chad, Boo and Beran. They leave and we are at a lower number than this year.
(I don’t count diving walk on players unused schollie as real schollies)

I didn’t think there’d be any chance of any of them returning in 2023-24 heading into this season, but if they do the improbable and make the NCAA Tournament, maybe they’ll want to run it back again.
Or even if they come up just short and think they could get it done next yearI guess anything is possible.
