A little odd the tweet was deleted, but he retweeted a bunch of others (including Lou) saying congrats or their stories on the commitment, so I’m not thinking he changed his mind or it was a mistake...totally guessing, but any chance NU would have asked him to delete it for any reason?

I love the early recruit to kick off a class!! Now you have a rep talking to other prospects at camps and beyond.

Is this the start of a Richmond pipeline? Is there such a thing?

Is he a lead guard or a wing in CC's offense?

A wing guard with a game played big enough to rebound and defend in a 3 guard lineup. Not that we currently have the other guards to make that work. But Bam is a great start.

yep. #212 on 247.

He is comfortably a top 100 athlete with the ability to score in bunches from beyond the arc to rim rattling dunks. A lot to work on in terms of polish and consistency. But the tools are there to compete at a very high level. Just a great get at a position of need.

Sounds vaguely familiar. Anthony Gaines, but with a long range shot?

Anthony Gaines light with even more explosiveness to the hoop and both the ability and desire to score 20+. Also has a bit more in your face swag than we’re accustomed to in Evanston. I welcome that.

If he has AG’s consistent smarts, toughness and drive, and all the other intangibles that make Gaines a fan favorite, the future is indeed bright for Bam.

He has a much, much better handle than Gaines.

He was maybe 6 1" as a freshman.....he's 6 5" now and he's thick. The tape from the different years is interesting. Looks like he was never afraid of contact but now he's like, "come body me."

His shots ok...everything is there, just needs to keep working/refining.

What if he adds another inch or three before he gets here...

seems like a combo of demps, lindsey, and gaines

demps - excelled as a driver and the ball in his hand
lindsey - excelled as a shooter
gaines - excells getting to the rim

i don't think he does any of these great, but does them all really well

Huh? They have him exactly at 100 and a 4 star.

He has reported offers from Virgina Tech, Florida, West Virginia, Kansas State, Miami, VCU and some others. The only thing absent from the videos I’ve seen is video of him handling ball in traffic. He’s an upgrade on overall athleticism, he’s got solid size and he will play Gaines in practice everyday for a year before he will be needed to contribute. NU guard rotation could be solid in a few years and that’s without the big names Collins has been recruiting for a few years - Steward and Christie.

100 at 247, 106 at Rivals. Looks like ESPN does not have him rated which drags him down to 212.
His film, measurables, and stats add up to a prospect that is far above the 200s. Probably a very old evaluation by ESPN.

6'4" with a 40" vertical, 7'1" wingspan (same as Pardon IIRC) with 28.7pts per game and over 7 rebounds. Only a HS Jr, his body already looks close to B1G ready, not unlike Gaines did.

Let's go! Still a few holes to fill, but the '20-'21 roster is starting to look promising, assuming Freeman is close to a lock at this point.

He's 6' 5" .... very similar to Taylor Horton Tucker

Scru, where did you get the info on his vertical and wingspan? Thanks in advance
