Well this story sums up the state of WVU football...a list of minor bowls against teams at, or near, .500...just like us. And of course possible games in the desert or in Tx which would deter even the most party hungry WVU fan. Of course once the bowl model implodes and most of these bowls go under it won't matter to teams at, or near, .500 just like us. We all could just stay home and watch all the better teams play. Sad state of affairs for Mountaineer football.
Yep! Season ended with a dud and now in The Who Gives a Crap lineup of Bowl Games. Sucks.
I’ll attend the Liberty Bowl if we go there. Can’t go to the others. Not sure it’s going to matter though which bowl we go to as we will have a hard time winning. With Greer out along with other injuries and our lack of a running game. Heck we don’t even know what uniform are going to wear from week to week ha ha.
WVU should opt out of Bowl consideration. Lower tier Bowls usually cost teams more money then they get paid to participate.
This teams needs to rest and get healthy. But some will say "whata 'bout dem seniors ?" Sure a participation trophy and also-ran bowl game seems like a great thing nowadays. Not so long ago 7-5 got you nothing. There are too many Bowl games with 6-6 and 7-5 teams that the Bowls have lost any meaning. IMO
That being said, if we get the Liberty Bowl I'll be making that trip. Memphis Tennessee is a great little city for a weekend trip/mini vacation. :smiley:

Extra practices much more beneficial to young players than worrying about "rest" when it is 8 months until the next game.
