Anxious to see Flightline tomorrow. Is he legendary great?

Lots of good races. Weather might be a bit iffy?

Anyone want to share some picks?

I hope he wins by double digit lengths and gets under 2 minutes, he'll retire as an all-time great.

Beyer figures aren't everything but they aren't nothing either and he got a 126 last out.

I guess I don’t understand all the intricates of horses but if flightline is so good and he’s running against some horses in the triple crown why didn’t he run in those races and just broke out right after the triple crown? Not enough prep race points? Late bloomer?

I think it's just that they didn't rush him. His first race was a week before the Derby last year and then they didn't run him again until September.

I was going to go all, all, 3, 7 in the Pick 4 that started on the 4th race. I decided I didn't want to for $63 and cut my ticket down to $40. I immediately regret that decision after the 43-1 shot in the 4th race.

Good news/Bad news
The good news is that I am 3 legs through the pick 4.

The bad news. If Taiba wins I can win about $80 and if Flightline wins I will only lose about $70. Not all swings for the fences work out.

OK, I usually say we have to pump the breaks when comparing to Secretariat. We can do it now. It's the problem with horse racing. Everyone now knows him and they will never see him again.

I typically play Supers on stakes heavy cards, as i did today.

I usually do better than I did today, I was running 3 out of 4 all damn day, I got humbled by the game.

Another messed up thing about horse racing. Flavien Prat just won the biggest race of the year and made history with a classic horse. He's celebrating by riding the even money favorite in a $350,000 race to end the day.

Almost ….probably could have got under 2 min if he was pushed. Won by 8.
Guess that was it for his on track career. 6 races. Doesn’t seem like much. Saw Storm Cat way back in his pedigree.
Won $4.40 on my $10 win ticket. Epic center pulling up killed my exotics. Sorry to see that along with Domestic Spending also hurt.

Was at Races yesterday and Flight Line was Impressive to say the least. When he walked into the Paddock he knew he was the Best and he showed it.

89 million more than his purchase price. Not a bad 3 year investment.

OT I was surprised when tv said Secretariat lost his next two races after winning the Triple Crown!

I was there when American Pharaoh won the BC. It was an insane atmosphere. Of course he was a TC winner. I bought and framed the program and a win ticket on him.

Wonder if it was the same yesterday?

He finished 3rd in the Wood Memorial in his last prep race. If you notice in the Derby he has 1A on his saddle cloth. 1 was Angle Lite who won the Wood. Luchen Lauren trained both and they said he was so pissed Secretariat didn't win that he didn't realize he had still won the race.

The Crowd was going nuts down the stretch but Crowd wasn't the same as the American Pharaoh year. Like you said AP was a Triple Crown winner and going for a First winner of TC and BC.

Flightline's career, if it's over, is remarkable. The move he made around the far turn was incredible. I understand the comparisons to Secretariat being made. Secretariat ran 21 races in 16 months. That's seems like a lot of races against top competition.

I was totally impressed by Flightline. Really disappointed he'll never race again. Greed rules. More money in the stud barn.

Here are his first 5 races. No contest when he turns it on in the stretch:

Sec ran back when horses were still horses & not today's pampered pansies.
