Maybe Im mistaken. Stirtz is getting 37 min/game Wagler is averaging 33 min/game, Thorton 36 min/game, Blackwell 33 min/game, Smith 34 min/game.

I think youve stumbled in to the idea that a point guard is critical to the offense. Crazy!

Let me tell you something else that will blow your freaking mind away......a 'really good' QB is really important to a really good football team similarly.

Other than Cooper, who played well today? Even Stirtz was off (2-7 from 3). Alvaro was 0-3 from 3.

You can't point a finger at one guy for this disaster.

Iowa went up 67-62 with 4:30 left in the game.

They got outscored 9-2 the rest of the way (Stirtz lay up with 8 seconds to go).

Unacceptable.

He was a team worst -15 when he was on the court. The next worst was Kael Combs at -6. Hausen was +5.

Alvaro also had 2 of Iowa's 8 turnovers.

Thanks Fran. Haven't changed my opinion that we should have seen more of Sage in the second half. Like so many things with this team Hausen seems like a mixed bag. Everything just seems so uneven.

Fair enough, but in 15 minutes he had zeros across the stat line with a single assist. Obv eye test analysis (and I’m mostly talking out of my ***) but that +5 feels more down to Penn States shooting coming back down to earth for a stretch, than any impact he had on the game.

Alvaro is a mixed bag, too. Cooper finally had a good game.

Our defense overall has been a mixed bag. We shut down Nebraska & Ohio State and then do this?

I just think a finger can be pointed in a lot of different directions.

And just think; these players, at minimum, are getting from Iowa a share of the $3.5M in rev sharing plus free tuition & free, unlimited food. Plus, they are making potential income in other NIL deals. I guess that's why they always look happy, no matter what.

The roster is unbalanced for the style of play Ben wants IMO. After this year he may be able to construct the roster to meet his style better. The players are struggling to execute as a unit. Hausen is just a piece to this puzzle.

I don’t get what piece he is in the puzzle. Not calling you out as there are a lot of fans who want him to play more. I just don’t understand why? Would this team have a different record without him? It has to be considered wasted nil $ right?
