We (and CCC) are very fortunate to have Coach James on staff. I believe he has had a tremendous effect on the development of our players and his impact on Collins cannot be underestimated. Having James on board since day one has been a real boon to our program. I hope he and CCC stay together for quite a while.

You are right. I spoke with him once and told him the staff did a great job coaching Alex Olajh who had really improved. He thanked me for the compliment since it was his work. If this is true that he works with the bigs, note the improvement Dererk and Gavin have made. Like Alex, Derek really had improved his footwork and his recovery on defense on the pick and roll is tremendous. We are very lucky.
A great thought, although I couldn't imagine CCC accepting any other job without James along side him. The seem like a perfect compliment to each other.

Thinking that James came on board with some urging from Doug. He's coached with Doug at other stops and is a senior advisor to Chris in his first HC job. If CC leaves, then how about Doug as HC?
Miles' last comment was really interesting. He was asked about the crowd and said it was so loud they had to use hand signals, that a lot of much bigger crowds aren't that loud, and that it's now turning into a great atmosphere. Compliments to to the students and fans (especially the Phantom of the Opera guy). To paraphrase, rock the pound tomorrow!
