I just learned that our QB recruit Chubba Purdy has a big brother who is having a great season as Iowa State’s starting QB. Sophomore Brock Purdy has completed nearly 70% of his passes and has thrown for 2185 yards with 14 TDs and 4 INTs for the 23rd ranked Cyclones. Looks like I’m going to have to watch an Iowa State game soon!

Yeah Brock was a National star last year at ISU and I really think Chubba has a brighter future.. and that’s saying a ton.
Time will tell, but I don’t think we’ve seen a pro-style prototypical QB with a combination of incredible accuracy and athleticism before around here. And that is a bold statement.

I’m Lamar’s biggest fan and knew he’d be a great pro. Lamar is unique, so I’m never going to even try to compare anyone to him.
Purdy’s Accuracy downfield, along with his size and athleticism makes him unique also. Long way to go but I can’t wait to see him play here.
No surprise as ISU Head Coach Matt Campbell and CSS are good friends and worked together at Toledo years ago and still bounce ideas off each other.
