2 terroble matches followed Datan winning a close decision and Young getting rode for 2 and a half minutes after a takedown in the 1st period. and having no offense until a last 30 second takedown.
Voinovich shoots early and gets the takedown and gives up an escape with 1:30 left in the first.

Wittlake wins 11 to 9 but a couple of very sloppy moments for Wittlake.
Haas wins 184 with 4 1st period pins, Mclane, Travis and Manibog win.
Carter’s match was super frustrating. Familiar refrain: he couldn’t get off bottom.
More encouraged than not. Solid first win against Samuelson, who gave Geer fits.
