If moreno is 6-11 or 7-0 or 7-1 in shoes?

These will make much difference

7-1 is on another level...

Moreno has looked good. Most of the time in these games the guards are jacking up shots and not passing to the post but he has been hitting the boards and has a put back or 2. Also reached back and caught a lob that was thrown behind him with one hand and threw it down.
No time for Moreno to rest either. He just played two games on Saturday to win the State Championship Then had to bolt town for this.

He has to see who will leave and stay in Duke

I think if Duke has any room for him, he will commit very soon.

Do not think LOU is surefire #2...
I said this earlier. Flagg nonsense about a second season, though clearly is a farce, could cause hesitation in Ament as well as other transfers.

They also have some other guys who have to make a decision to stay, go pro or transfer like Evans. I think Ament wants to go to Duke but has been told to wait until these guys make their final decision. Otherwise, why wait this long?

Can Moreno step out and hit the 3? Can he hit anything outside of 8-10 feet for that matter? That's where BG has him. I think there's room for both to be on the floor at the same time if we need to go big. BG can play the 4.
Yea he hit 3s in high school..

A quick search of their yearly stats shows he was 3-11 from 3 point range this season. So technically he did hit 3's in high school but he neither took nor hit many at all.
While most everything about Moreno as a Center prosect is promising, his perimeter shot form is just not good for consistency. His shots are on-line, and he has follow through, but he generally needs to catch nothing but net. His shot more often comes off the interior of the back rim due to his relative low arc. He has that form you see sometimes where a guy cocks the shot all the way behind his head and it just doesn't lend itself to any consistency. And he shoots his FTs with that form as well, but he does ok with that (I suspect he'll likely always be mid to upper 60s with FTs).

Interestingly, the form on his shots in the lane out to just within the FT line are different and looks good.

BG shot 53% from the stripe and 30% on predominantly wide open 3s

If Pope is promising him more opportunities, he must think BG is capable of making them at a better rate, and says to me he's trying to make him into more of a stretch 5/4 type.

Can he come in right away and play the Amari role (with hopefully better touch around the basket on offense and rim protection on defense)?
