Great move. If I were Pope, I would sit any player that is not 100% tomorrow night.
No way you are going into Knoxville and beat UT after their loss to Auburn, and the best you can hope for is to get out of that dump without another player sustaining a serious, season ending injury.

If you watched UT and Auburn Saturday night, you know this game will be way more physical than our players can handle right now.

Play to get ready for Saturday and move on.

Yeah, that’s going to be a real mountain to overcome tomorrow night. No true point guards available against a team that makes on ball pressure their point of emphasis on defense. I’m afraid we may see a boatload of turnovers and a lot of trouble initiating offense even on the possessions we hang on to.

Disappointing but that could explain his some of his play last game. Carr looked far from 100% against Bama. It is what it is and we have to play the hand we're dealt. Hopefully they heal up and are available for the entire back half of the SEC schedule.

Honestly if butler is gonna be out i would just assume sit Carr as well and let him get even healthier. It’s not like we stand a chance without butler so just mark it down as a loss and try to get more healthy.

J-Rob gonna have to have the game of his life… on both ends. Perry and Noah too. We need all hands on deck.

Maybe we go zone?
We should have been playing a matchup zone a lot this year. This would cancel some of our lack of defensive speed. Not sure you just out of the blue threw a zone out as a pun, but you are absolutely correct. You would make a coach, at some level. No PUN intended!

Oh really and where did u hear this

A friend with connections. Told me at lunchtime today Butler was gonna be out because of his shoulder. Wasn’t sure if it was accurate until I saw tonight that he’s out tomorrow. He said it’s a case where it needs surgery and it’s a matter of either trying to play through it hurt the rest of the year or have the surgery and be done.

Ooof. Not sure I can watch that beat down or not. I guess if Pope knows the odds are against us anyway, take the L and get the guys healthy for the home stretch.

This board is pathetic. You all act like a bunch of babies. God forbid you hope for the best and get behind the team. Just throw the towel in on the whole season. Some of you are pathetic.
Brother real life ain’t a Disney movie. It’s not all happiness and rainbows. Bad **** is happening and people are reacting to it. It’s called normal human behavior. 2 starters are out, and you’re getting upset because people are reacting like any other damn fanbase would
