I'm feeling hospitable today so I thought I'd save a regular poster some typing...

Not a fan of this. It’s easy enough to ignore someone. Going out of one’s way to target another poster doesn’t accomplish anything and looks crappy.

They don’t like anyone’s fandom but their own. And Marshall is cranky anyway - but, they’re positioned so that if we win it’s great, and if we lose that’s great too because they don’t care about winning.

Loss yesterday wasn’t a shocker. How we lost was very disappointing though. Even with the putrid offense and stupid AF penalties we could have won. I thought AK was the guy but not sure now - leading receiver was Singleton, leading rusher was Warren. That’s not gonna cut it. And as much as I love Allar, he’s another Hackenberg back there. Franklin’s offense is better with a true dual threat QB. You take Allar if he wants to come here but he was a Yurcich priority.

Franklin’s offense is better with a true dual threat QB. You take Allar if he wants to come here but he was a Yurcich priority.

Which is why I'm surprised that we didn't run a Beau or Warren set the two times we were 1st and goal.

But I never coached so disregard.

I tried to start a no Franklin post, so don’t blame me. Some PSU folks still suffer from the Paterno era time (and it was a loooooong time): strong, unreasonable reverence for the coach even though they don’t even personally know him, this idea that young people should know their place and things shouldn’t change because they and the elder statesman of the program knows what’s best for everyone, and the concept of justifying poor results by blaming all sorts of external factors that the coach actually has a lot of say in. They aren’t bad people, just not understanding that the world changes and coaches are no different than any other job: no one is irreplaceable, there is always someone better out there, and evolve or die. We all have to deal with it.
