Yeah, we realize Duke has more 5 star recruits than FSU, but the Noles don't get any extra bonus points for degree of difficulty. Try harder.

Not to mention.. I think teams would rather have a 4-star senior/junior than most 5-star freshmen, if we are just looking at 1 game.

Example: for 1 game, would you rather have a senior Amile Jefferson/Marshall Plumlee OR a freshman Chase Jeter ?

Duke:
four 5-Stars
four 4-Stars
one 3-Star

FSU:
one 5-star
five 4-stars
four 3-stars

You do realize that FSU can recruit these kids just like Duke can? It's not like Hamilton is forbidden from recruiting the same 5-star players...so I don't see it as Duke just having better players, but more that FSU isn't able to sign better players.

Trying to figure out the purpose of your post. Just to get followers? Trolling? Or just wanted us to know how each player was ranked coming out of high school? Facts are fun, but opinions drive message boards. Give us something to work with or people will assume you don't have the best intentions here...

I think it's an interesting breakdown and something I think about when watching college hoops. FSU has lost 5 straight but they do a good job recruiting. We all know Duke had a good freshman class this year but do you remember where Jefferson and Plumlee were ranked in 2011 and 2012? I didn't. Nothing but the best intentions here. I don't even know what trolling is...

No worries. Its hard to tell sometimes when someone makes an ambiguous first post. FSU has got some talent. And so does Miami. But I think only one of those has a real chance of remaining relevant in ACC hoops for the next 5-10 years.
