Uggh... is Peacock another paid streaming service that most of us won't have? Hopefully, they won't want to pick NU games to broadcast on there.

I’m fairly sure that these sports broadcasts (at least today) do not require you to subscribe to the service to find the broadcast. Still still annoying of course

Are you sure? I recall MLB games this year that were broadcast by AppleTV or something like that and I couldn't see it. Of course, I'm a Cincinnati Reds fan, so they were doing me a favor.

The good news is NU games won't drive subscriptions with our apathetic fan base. Get Nebraska or Iowa games and they will see a lift. The 800# would be jammed.

Yeah, they're not going to go out of their way to put NU football on Peacock - the bottom tier will still be BTN. However, with up to 47 men's basketball games going on Peacock, I would anticipate NU hoops being on there a lot.

I started using Peacock+ this month for English Premiership football. Good streaming service, much better than Paramount. And it only costs $0.20/day.

The non-sports content is crap though.

I am not sure. As it turns out, the very idea is so preposterous that I got a hahahahahahahahahah from @HappyNUyear.

ND fans had to pay for Peacock premium last year:


But, if you were smarter, you would’ve only needed an Apple ID for the Reds game:

Also, you should get Apple TV+. No snooze button. No panic button.

There are a ton of ways to get free/cheap Peacock though. I’ve got 3 years for free from a special they ran months back.
