Navy will be much better by that point in the season. Their new QB will Improve option decisions and the repetitions in games will make their offense More difficult to defend. The key will be our D-line distrusting the option with penetration at the QB - Fullback interchange and not losing a step on the QB reverse out on the counter.
He may make better decisions but he is no where near the dynamic player Perry was. Perry was very durable, elusive, and also hard to bring down on first contact. The new kid didn't appear to be any of those things. Navy's DL was also clearly over matched by BYU's OL and I'm hoping our OL has its act together enough to clear some space for Brooks, Taylor, & Co.
