Got on this board mid summer asking about where to stay/eat, what to see, etc. in Lexington when I came to a game at UK this fall. Got lots of good advice and thank you all for that.
Someone commented that I should be waiting for BB season as Kentucky was a basketball school. Well, after watching almost all your games this fall, it looks to me like Kentucky is a football school too. Really looking forward to the game next weekend.

I think your trip is awesome. Man, for your sake this winning streak was great. Talk about a complete 180 in stadium atmosphere that you'll experience. I hope the Bluegrass treats you well. I sure do wish I could go back soon.

Wanted to thanks you folks for the welcome and advice you gave re: what to see, where to eat, etc.
My wife and I had an amazing time in the 3 days we spent in Lexington.
The game day experience was really great though we, as well as you all were disappointed at the results.
I thought U.K. had it.
We made it to Keeneland. Did a short bourbon tour and visited several other places you suggested. Even got down to Richmond and got my picture taken on the 50 on my Kentucky cousin, Roy Kidd's field. That was special.
Anyway, you are lucky people to be going to school at U.K. Beautiful campus, great people, and Basketball seasons cranking up. Wish you were playing UCLA here in L.A. Hate the Bruins.
Hope all of you have a great Thanksgiving.
