Man, Holt would be a huge get but I think we’re probably in 3rd place for his services with Alabama and Auburn in the lead.
Good thing we have Smith to fall back on. But I like Holt better as he can shoot much better.
I think we end up getting Stokes. Maximo. Holt and Rippey. I could see us getting Taylor or Diane at the 5 too. Taylor seems to be hot rn. I’d be fine with that as long as we get that stud big from the portal. Or if Moreno shows he’s ready to be the starter.
I don't see us taking more than 3 freshmen. I would like to see these players

I don't see us getting both Stokes and Maximo. If we lost Stokes and got Maximo most would be disappointed but he's got all kinds of talent and upside.
I don't see Pope in today's transfer portal environment taking more than 3 high school kids
I think Irving is a possibility. But I think Taylor is a little more developed and ready to do a little something year 1. The only C I see being “that dude” would be Diane. Glad to see where we’re in good standings with him. He could be Joel Embid 2.0.
I think Houston leads for Diane but with Coach Pope’s brother in law being his coach could help us.
I think 26-27 will be a little different because of all the potential returnees. Lowe. Jasper. Kam. Mo D. That’s 4 major vets coming back. Mixed in with Moreno. Noah. Chandler. Hawthorne. We’d have some major 2nd. 3rd and 4th year guys. So I’m expecting only a couple transfers. Like say if Stokes and Rippey commit. Then 2 of Thompson/Cloer/Howard/Maximo. Smith/Holt Muurinen. Diane or even (not likely but) Collins or Baba wanna commit then I doubt we’d say no. That’d be a mix of returning, proven vets and some instant impact OAD’s. So that’s The reason I think we get like 4 big time freshmen. I think Jelevic leaves for the NBA considering his age etc. My dream class is Stokes to play the 4. Rippey to backup the 1-2. Thompson to start at the 3. Diane to start at the 5. Get 2/3 young transfers who’ll be contributors the next year.
If we get Rippey. Stokes and Maximo. You can’t say no to Diane or Holt. He’s cast a wide net for a reason. He knows we’ll have a veteran team no matter what with potentially 10 returnees
I want him bad. He’s gonna be a stud as soon as he steps on the court. I could see that draft going Stokes 1. Diane 2.
Holt us definitely one if my favorite in the class.
Holt and Rippey would make a stellar foundation for this class. If we somehow land Stokes watch out. I doubt we get all 3 but I can dream.
I don't think we get Stokes. Or Kinney or Rippey. That's just a hunch. I do feel good about Diane and Holt. Again that's just my hunch.
I disagree with that I think we get Stokes we're right there with them ,I think we get Diane ,and maybe two other this will be a bigger class than most expect
Maybe. I hope you're right on Stokes. I think that recruitment has a long way to go, despite what has been said.
I'm starting to feel the same way as well. I hope I'm wrong but it kinda feels like a Caleb Wilson recruitment.
Holt has moved up his Alabama visit too this weekend. This could be interesting.

Holt and Stokes are both grown men already. Difference makers from day one. I would be happy with them two and the rest can be transfers.
That’s just me saying hit or miss if we don’t land them. I’ll gladly take any freshman that wants to come here but these two are the ones I really would like to see in Kentucky Blue.
