It's still possible of course, but we've won only three so far and have no reason to realistically expect we'll win three more out of the next four. We are probably looking at a dog fight for one more win and the hat.

What happened? It's so frustrating. Returning production is meaningless at this point in the season. Jim O'Neil has not been good but this is not all his fault.

Play the young guys. Give the seniors some snaps but start playing for next year. I'll still watch the games and root for our guys and hope for the upset. But it's a lost year.

I dont even see any evidence of a "too close to call".
I suppose it could be argued that if Illinois doesnt show up that we have a chance. But if we pull off that upset then we still need 2 more wins. Not happening.

Ha, we probably could have called it after the first half of the Duke game. But I've been optimistic and I love the team, so I've been holding out hope that they could pull it off down the stretch with QB changes and scheme changes on defense.
