Just watched a video from 2 Arky fans who had been excited and hopeful with the Cal hire, and they are already despondent. I don't think there was one thing said by them that I disagreed with. In 4 games, they are already where most of us were at when he finally left. They talked about how his style is boring, he isn't developing guys like he used to, needs better assistants, that he won't change, etc. I think his stay there is going to be much shorter than anyone expected. This is a different video, but go to 2:45 and hear them talk about how right UK fans were

But every time I see Brad on the sideline he looks so intense. NOT! He looks more scared now than he did when he was on the court here. Can’t imagine he brings anything to the table. Chin is a drunk. Kenny is a yes man who barely ever speaks. Ulis is the only good basketball mind on staff.

I’m in an SEC group on Facebook. I told them what to expect when they hired Cal:

Boring, archaic offense that labors to score 70 points against a team with a pulse
M2M defense 100 percent of the time even if they suck at it
High ranked recruits who are high on measurables and short on basketball skills and IQ
Stubborn coach who knows it all and will belittle anyone who dares question his greatness

I got called a hater and jealous ex.

Now, several piggies have told me they sadly think I might’ve been correct.

He’s just hanging on in hopes of launching Brad’s career and getting him paid along the way. He’s a carbon copy of Tubby.

I mean, we loved the dude for several seasons. Did they think we were just lying spoiled brats? No sympathy and no quarter for them. We warned them and they called us everything in the book.

I remember Memphis fans saying “you’ll love him at first, but he’ll eventually wear you down.” Luckily for us, he delivered a title and a few FFs before the wear down. I don’t see him giving Ark fans anything of worth.

Even worse, they saw the decline already. I mean he did well for us from almost 10 years. This job has a shelf life. Only Rupp has made it more than 10 years without flaming out.
No other UK coach really has.

I know Arkansas fans that are knowledgeable and were open minded about what to expect from Calipari. I think they richly so, thought the hire was good, but to take it with a grain of salt.

Nobody was (is) telling them Cal is going to bring the kind of championship title level teams like Cal had at Kentucky. And the criticism following Cal around has been picked up by most that pay any attention to college basketball.

So far, Cal is delivering exactly what was expected, and it's not the kind of awesome upgrade hoped for.

I just don't see Hog fans putting up with "Calisms" before they give him up.

They'll soon see, if not already, that Cals system is antiquated and his philosophy not going to deliver the kind of success they want.

Early exits of the NCAAT, devaluing sec titles and sec tournament runs, that's his norm. Forget anything positive from him

Excuses are his schtick. Poor team performances are more the norm, and the style?

What style?

When you're constantly behind the 8 ball without experienced players, on the road, everyone learning just to try and catch up with the rest, it's no recipe for success.

Hog fans will be disappointed in the end, however long they allow it to go on. It'll be interesting to see how long it lasts.

You forgot about the permanent smirk and gum chewing Bruiser! That’s a mastermind right there!

So they're realizing very quickly what UK fans have been saying for quite some time now about CCC was actually true.
And they’re seeing what we are doing post Cal and getting Pope envy. We just dismantled a chump team they struggled with.

I watch videos of Pope during timeouts and at halftime and wonder just how bad Kenny Payne had to be. Pope is a basketball savant.
