I'm not a Cam fan. But the press conference afterwards the reporters ask over and over and over the same question. Cam gave the same answer " we were out played".
You could watch the frustration build. I don't blame the guy for walking out. They were just stabbing him over and over until he had enough.
Not making any excuses for Cam. There are none to be made.Sorry but that's every press conference in general. Had they won do you think he would have gotten tired of answering the same redundant questions over and over. Heck I'm a sore loser too but you can still be a sore loser and keep some class about you.
All year long he said "you don't like how I act, then stop me!" Well the Broncos did. If he is going to act all pompous with his dabbing and superman antics and smiling on the sidelines for pictures while the game is still going on, then he has to accept the other side as well. At least better than he did. That was like a 2 year old sulking after not getting his way.
Cam provide he is an immature child who can't stand to lose and cries about everything and blames everyone else. He needs to grow up and be a professional. He says show me a good loser and I will show you a loser. I guess he does not remember meeting Peyton.
Good lord another race baiter, this has nothing to do with race, he acted like a baby, he did his dance etc and the old saying was if you don't like it stop him, well Denver stopped him and he let his immature self get the better of him. He was gracious out on the field I will give him that, but there have been 49 other QB's who lost the super bowl and had to sit there and go thru what he did, guess what I do not remember any of them, white or black or green and yellow getting up and stomping out like a little kid in a huff. How you handle defeat is just as important as how you handle winning, this is a professional sport.all the same people who say this country is becoming too "politically correct", are the same group that says Cam Newton "was not politically correct enough"...
sounds like you only hate politically correctness when it stops YOU from speaking your mind, and that same privilege is not afforded to others.
and let me add... I'm not calling anyone a racist, but this whole Cam Newton ordeal going back to when that woman wrote that letter to Cam about not being a good role model, leading up to this point, has a racial undertone, and feels very much like basically not liking a successful black man because he celebrated a few TD's. Aaron Rodgers celebrates TDs and gets an endorsement... Cam Newton does it and he is classless? double standard much?

You mean the Peyton Manning that stomped off the field after he lost to New Orleans in the Superbowl without congratulating anyone . That same one? I don't think what Newton did in the post game was handled correctly but we all have our moments. He went out on the field and congratulated Manning, shook hands and smiled the whole time. That's better to me than giving the same old sound byte about tough loss, blah, blah to the media. It's also a lot easier to be a gracious loser in the Superbowl when you already have one under your belt like Manning and Russel Wilson have displayed.
We cry about the athletes not being real enough and when they are we rip them apart for not being a gracious loser. Newton is an emotional guy, has never lost that type of game in his career. I think he'll learn from it and react better if it happens again but I also give the guy some credit for not backing down and changing his comments a day later.
He says show me a good loser and I will show you a loser.

This. Manning has been a total jerk after many losses, thrown teammates under the bus (blamed his O-Line for the loss the year I think they lost to the Steelers in 2005 "I think") and many other incidents over the years. Manning is some golden boy white guy though so he gets a pass and people forget his antics in the past. I don't usually mention the R word in sports discussions but it 100% is in play with the Cam hate vs. ignoring it when someone like Peyton does it over the years again and again.
It has nothing to do with being "politically correct". It has to do with being mature and having class. Cam is a narcissistic egomaniac.all the same people who say this country is becoming too "politically correct", are the same group that says Cam Newton "was not politically correct enough"...

I'm a panthers fan having lived in SC and a Cam fan. But the Rodgers comparison is bogus. Celebrating is one thing but a celebration that takes 5 seconds is the equivalent to Can doing the superman. Nobody had a problem with that. It became a topic when it became over the top and elaborate and drawn out.all the same people who say this country is becoming too "politically correct", are the same group that says Cam Newton "was not politically correct enough"...
