Nice to have a bigtime QB commit already locked up for the 2018 class!!!
More importantly than any star ranking, it's a "Who's Who" list of teams recruiting him as well. That shows better, IMHO, of how good he might be.

Looks as if OU will always have a pipeline open for highly rated quarterbacks with Lincoln Riley around. From Kendall to Murray to Robison to Rising.
Isn't he one of the highest rated QB recruits we have had in a long time? I'm guessing Bomar also had a lot of offers.
Not only highly rated QBs, but also Riley has a better eye for kids he wants in his system, and then developing them once they get on campus.
And also I'm reading about the amount of energy and effort Riley put into recruiting this kid really made a huge impact on this kids decision. I think that was something sorely missing prior to Riley's arrival at OU.

Looks like you are right BR....Bell was also a 4 star guy. Seemed like he just got too big and slow while he was at OU. I remember watching videos of him in HS and he seemed a lot more agile
