Well i like this and Erik picking us to win but both theses picks are too low scoring..this will be high scoring imo

He misses the points about our last two games. They were ball control, field position style games that were designed to be low scoring affairs. IF the objective was just to score a bunch of points regardless of the risk involved I'm sure we could have put more points up. i.e. The Vandy game, just on our last possession I think we punch it in had we need to score there, but being as how we had the lead with our defense playing very well, we smartly choose to run clock instead and then kick the field goal.

I think among other things, they are trying to be protective of this QB until he has had a chance to get some experience and grow a little bit. Putting too much on him at this stage, especially unnecessarily, could turn out to be a disaster.

It's been pretty obvious with our defense improving, dominant run game and below average passing attack, our best bet is running the ball and playing aggressive defense.

I never would have thought that would be the case coming into the year but it's funny how that works out.

I think it's a 24-17 type game with us running the ball and controlling the clock.

I like the 23-20 score. Might even go lower than that. Maybe 17-13? I think there's a defensive TD or points off turnover each way and very little offense after that. I like us in a defensive game of field position.
