Looks like it definitely should have been a technical to me. Willie was tough and played through it, but I'll be surprised if his nose isn't broken.

They were throwing 'bows and stiff arms all afternoon and I can only recall two of those stiff arms that were called fouls. Basketball is becoming more like football between the physicality and scores.

Thanks for the clip. I was thinking how did a 7 foot willie get a broken nose? There were a lot of punches thrown in this one. Apparently Arkansas does not like getting pounded twice in one season.

The thing about this is that it was at least the second time Qualls "accidentally" bashed one of our guys in the face. The more times you accidentally do the exact same thing, well . . . kind of like the Iowa eye-poker whose fingers seem to find their way into opponents eye sockets somehow, repeatedly.
