you may have heard about a guy named Yogi at IU do not think your guard Mac will be put on all big ten team ahead of Yogi
I love Yogi's game and thought that last year, certainly, he was underrated. Not a lot of guards have the close-in ability to handle and distribute like Yogi does.
Today, BMac's and Yogi's stats are a mirror image of one another
BMac is averaging one more assist per game than Yogi and has a slightly better (two tenths of a point) assist to turnover ratio.
They are dead even on scoring but BMac converts at a slightly higher rate and is better (47% versus 40%) from three.
IU fans might say, "BMac did that against lower grade competition." NU fans would counter with, "Yogi did that with far better talent around him."
The team with the best story to tell at season's end will have a leg up on some of these awards. That makes it tougher for IU and its individual players who were picked in the preseason as a top ten team.
