Get a chance at nose tackle for the Love of God! I dont know or care wats up with PRACTICE!! But come on dude deserves some time he might accel during a game. It is pissing me off he isnt getting a chance. Some people shrink during a game and some people blow up during a game. Well i seen enough of shrinking during a game by Elam. Give Hyde a chance WTF is it going to hurt.

He is supposedly the strongest player on the team. Why not try him out this week, surely he want get pushed 5 yards down field like the rest of the D lineman

Hyde is supposed to be strong but his problem lies with his arms, he has very short arms...think T-Rex type. This allows an OL to get into his body that makes it easier for him to be controlled. It's unlikely he'll ever be much of a factor.

He is the strongest on the team and has a lower center than Elam and better technique, but as schwump pointed out he has very short arms. I agree it couldn't hurt to try him, he is quicker and more explosive off the ball(he played fullback some last year).

This is one I have never understood, strongest guy on the team, we had to have him and now he hardly ever plays, 6 foot 1 around 300 pounds, but with short arms, wth, I've never heard of that stopping anybody that didn't want to be stopped, Looks like he would get the chance to play, if he wants it, biggest mystery on the team, teams live for guys his size that can move. Richard Jaffe was 5 foot 9, 250 and was one of the best nose guards in the SEC, it can be done.

He actually did share some snaps in the Florida game and honestly didn't pay much attention to how he did as I had lost interest by that time and was flipping back and forth to old Lawrence Welk reruns. . . . they were much less painful

It always confused me how he could be the strongest person on the team, be quick enough to be FB every now and then, but not be able to play. Always thought maybe he didn't have good techniques, but nobody on the D-line has any, so that shouldn't be keeping him from playing.

I guess short arms works against him, but seriously, I can't imagine him being any worse than what we have seen the first 2 weeks.

I don't think he can be effective at this level but apparently some of the guys who should be effective aren't. I say give him a few more snaps this week.
