If we take this guy, the season is over. He’s 7’-9” without a lick of athletic ability or skill. There is a reason he never saw the court and why when he dunked during a game the Florida bench went nuts. It’s like he was a walk-on there or something…they all knew how terrible he was.

if he wants to come here for free, fine. I wouldn’t even give him a scholarship personally.

I wouldn't break the bank to get him, but I don't think we're in a position to turn away a 7'9" player who might be interested in playing for the Gamecocks.

No, he didn't see much playing time in his first two year at Florida, but who in our starting lineup this year would have seen much playing time on Florida's roster?

He can't run up and the down the court for any extended period. The physics of his size alone is what ultimately keeps him from being able to perform at a high level for extended periods of time. I know you guys have to be smarter than this lol

Stand him around the basket with his arms up. That’s more rim protection than we’ve had in years.

really 🤔,I guess that takes care of that 😐

As a rule of thought, MBB players can transfer from SC to UF, not the other way around.
So my AI overlords say:
Yes, a Florida college athlete can transfer to the University of South Carolina
(or other South Carolina institutions). Under current NCAA rules, athletes can transfer multiple times and maintain immediate eligibility, provided they enter the NCAA Transfer Portal during designated windows, are academically eligible, and meet progress-toward-degree requirements.
Key Transfer Details:
  • Eligibility: Athletes must be in good academic standing at their previous institution.
  • Windows: Transfers must occur within official NCAA transfer windows, not mid-season.
  • Examples: High-profile transfers, such as Ta'Niya Latson from Florida State to South Carolina (women's basketball) and Carter Miller from UCF to South Carolina (football), demonstrate this common occurrence.
  • Academic Requirements: Transfer students must meet specific NCAA and university academic progress requirements, including passing a minimum number of hours.
  • Rules: While athletes can transfer multiple times, they cannot transfer mid-year and play for a sec

Why do people think asking an "AI" chatbot a question always gets you the most correct answer? As if they have a direct connection to the Deep Thought supercomputer.
