Help me woodworkers or carpenters, I want to build a 100+ golf ball logo display case. Something like this.

Guy kinda gives details, but I'm a novice/dumbass. Help me make one please.

Can't email a mod, can't find SEC golf balls, and can't build a case for golf balls. Did your parents have any other children that lived?

Yes, I have a very successful sister. A doctor going back to school for another 6? Years I think. She makes triple zeros.

Me, on the other hand, have trouble remembering what day I need to take the trash to the curb. SO help me out.

  1. Get some wood
  2. Cut it to size. You may want to use a golf ball as a reference.
  3. Attach all the pieces as shown in your picture.
  4. Paint or stain the creation to your liking.
  5. Hang it on the wall and admire your handy work.

That case will hold 70 balls. To make one like that that will hold 100, it would need to be about 5 feet long and 18 inches high. I would make it for 10x10, then it could be 32" x 32" and easier to hang on the wall and to view.

Each ball will be in a 3" x 3" square.

Know up front that since you don't know what you're doing it is going to look like total ****.

Go ahead and spend the extra cash and buy 3 of them online…because you will obviously break the first two trying to figure out how to hang them on the wall.

Agree with others. I have solid skills with tools, woodworking, etc. but no way I would spent the time and energy on something like that. I collect display golf balls as well and bought the case online and called it a day. Looks just fine in my office.

Unless you want to take up woodworking as a hobby, just go ahead and buy one. To build it like the one you linked will require tools and knowledge that you clearly do not possess.

I think you guys are underestimating my skills. I once made a log cabin out of popsicle sticks. But yea I think I will go the safe route and just buy one. Sounded like a fun project for the winter but screw it.
