Scary for sure! I thought for sure Lancaster County would be on the list. Wonder why they aren't? Lancaster County's agriculture production dwarfs all of those counties.

"The "hotspot" counties with the highest rates of skin cancer increases were York, Adams, Franklin, Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, Mifflin, Juniata, Montour, Northumberland, Union, Synder, Lycoming, Centre, and Columbia."

Added info: Multiple Myeloma has a relatively well established link to RoundUp (class action suit w financial payouts). Paraquat has not been similarly linked to melanoma (yet), which has a strong genetic linkage.
You mention two different cancers that have similar sounding names.
you meant multiple melanoma.

No cause for multiple meyloma is known.

Sleepy, not trying to be argumentative but here are links that state the case clearly - yes linkage to non-Hodgkins lymphoma and multiple myeloma but no mention regarding melanoma so far.

Because the Amish don't use a lot of herbicides? Maybe they don't use any?

Thanks for the info.
I am dealing with multiple myeloma in my family and was told there was not any known causes.
Thought the myeloma and melanoma was your typo, but it was not.

My dermatologist says it has skyrocketed since Covid. Wether it’s Covid vaccine or Covid itself, her office has seen 4 times more skin cancer since then.
