Picture U6 sports as a radio broadcast. After you finish barfing, that's what it's like.

Paul Rogers was also let go from WHAS/iHeartradio. He will still be on the UofL broadcasts since those are owned by Learfield.

Captain Suntan is a douchebag, glad to see him go, but Paul Rogers doesn't make sense. He's been a fixture on WHAS and by all means is a class act. I'm guessing his tenured salary was too costly to keep around and they want to use younger and cheaper labor to do the sports reports.

iHeartRadio tends to do these cleanings every few years, and when they do happen, no one is safe. For some reason, this round of bloodbaths seems to be making more news this time around. Along with Ramsey and Rogers, they let go Mike Rutherford, Leland Conway, and Amy Nic. Those are the only 'on-air' people I have heard about, but they also let go a lot of in-office support staff. This wasn't just in Louisville, it was nation wide. Some markets lost more than others, some lost no one. A few small markets lost all of their local sports jocks. I can only guess that it had to do with salary overhead, but sometimes that is not the case.

Country powerhouse WAMZ let afternoon drive personality Amy Nic go as she arrived for work. She reassured followers on Facebook that she is okay, after being walked out of the building.

What's the point of this? Allowing someone to come into work, only to fire them and escort them out of the building in dramatic fashion? Seems like there is a better way that could be handled.

Wondering how they will fill the Leland Conway timeslot. I actually enjoyed listening to him when i had the chance.

I thought suntan had already been let go a couple of years ago. Broken clock is right twice a day.

Yeah, really. You made a statement that covered everyone. If you're gonna start making exceptions, your prior blanket statement is tantamount to empty moral posturing.
If you think Hitler and being an obnoxious U of L fan are equivalent you need to quit the internet homie.

The question remains: If you’re so pious that you’d never revel in people’s misfortunes, would you also not revel in Hitler’s?

Are you a humanitarian or a hypocrite?

Dgtatu sucks as a poster no doubt, but cmon.
His words, not mine. I've given him multiple chances to denounce Hitler/Nazism, but he has steadfastly refused. What's he hiding?

It's sad that anti-Semitism is alive and well on the Catpaw.

Oh...If he’s saying that Hitler with genocide and fascism is the same as a radio host losing his job......
..... then I totally agree

You'd have to ask him if that's what he meant. All I know is he has not publicly stated he was happy that Hitler was defeated, whereas I am.

Again, his words, not mine.
